Carson's Creekside Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
Regular stop with my parents. Just have not had a chance to review. Love the deck. Great waterside atmosphere. There was a surprisingly great crab cake. Absolute great spot to spend some time dining waterside on a nice day.
I met a friend here for lunch and it was so good I came back with my family the next night for dinner. It was a beautiful August evening and we wanted to sit Outdoors on the patio so we had a 10 or 15 minute wait. There was plenty of room on the inside. We eventually got out to our table and had an amazing view. The three of us got something to eat and we all agree that the food was delicious. The people that I were with got shrimp salad sandwiches which were huge. I got the Commodores toast or something like that which was also excellent. One of us got the crab soup which was fantastic and of course the french fries were good. On the previous day I just got a turkey club and a salad and they were both good as well. I will definitely be heading back here in the future.
Carson’s Creekside is such a great spot! The restaurant was very busy when we went, but they got us seated and served surprisingly quickly. The food was excellent, and the view from the deck at sunset was absolutely beautiful the perfect atmosphere for dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, and everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and delicious. I have to mention the broccoli it was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had! Perfectly cooked and seasoned; I could’ve eaten a whole plate of it as my meal.
Dined in for lunch today (1:30 PM). Opted for outdoor seating, observed how boats could park on the dock and dine in. 80s music was playing on the patio as A-10s flew by. Pretty neat atmosphere! Sam served me today, and she was great! I ordered the blackened mahi mahi BLT with fries… and it was delicious. I enjoy that they serve giant ice waters in the to-go containers. The lemons seemed freshly cut too, which is appreciated. I’ve had their calamari and split soups in the past which were also worth the $$$. Thank you, Sam! I’ll visit again.
Went to Carson's Creekside last night, place was nice, we ate outside watching the turtles and ducks, ordered way too much food, took 3/4 of it home for the next two days... Got the Crabby fries to begin with ( fries with crabmeat and melted cheese with cream of crab to dip) very good! Daughter wasn't a fan of their Shrimp scampi it was "too lemony & garlicky and the sauce was too thick" ( my other daughter tried it & agreed) but the shrimp were cooked perfectly & were large, so she was happy. We only ate a few pieces of the (larger than expected) Seafood Pizza bc the fries filled us up ( crab and shrimp with a cream sauce) it was very good! I had the salad the next day and it was delicious loved the ranch mixed with old bay dressing! Our waitress Ava (per receipt) was very sweet! Not in our budget to go often but was a nice special occasion place (for us).
Came here yesterday for happy hour and it was well worth the drive from downtown! They had a plethora of Crush flavors, all sounded yummy. There was a lemonade version on the menu, but I love blueberry and was craving a blueberry lemonade Crush; the bartender made a FANTASTIC rendition with blueberries and lemon to garnish. We ordered a crab pretzel that came super soft and very clearly not frozen, full of crab, and cheese - 15 outta 10! The pound of shrimp and onions did not disappoint and the onions were seasoned & steamed so perfectly I could’ve eaten them solo. We also ordered sweet potato fries that came crispy with a brown sugar cinnamony marshmallow dip, good enough to eat alone! Overall Carson’s left me overwhelmed in the best way possible - a menu full of bangers. I HAVE to come back to try more next time I’m in town. There’s also a dock with a water view we have to try to get a table at next time - spectacular views! There was a woman in the front that appeared to be in her mid-late 30s working on paperwork. I’m assuming she was an owner or manager. It’s not lost on me she took the time to stop her work and wish us goodbye on the way out. The little things add up! PS: All my pics are so zoomed in bc we started munching before remembering to take pics, it was THAT good.
First time having a fried crab cake and it was delicious. I absolutely loved the bang bang shrimp. I also tried the steak egg rolls — they were good but could’ve used a little more seasoning or a special sauce besides the nacho cheese. The asparagus side was lacking in portion. The staff was really friendly and management was walking around checking in, which was nice. One side had live music, but the other side offered a more casual, quiet dining experience.
Very chill atmosphere. We stopped in the afternoon on memorial day to check it out. They have a nice deck area that was full, so they sat us outside by picnic tables with umbrellas for shade. We got the crabby fries and best of both worlds crab soup and shared it. Very yummy. The fries had creamy crab soup to dip the fries in. And the maryland crab with asome creamy crab on top was delicious! I ordered an IPA draft and it was huge! The staff was super friendly! Would definitely go back.
